Make the most of the time you’ve been given!
1. Live on God’s agenda, not yours.
James 4:13-17 “Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain...
For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.”
2. Life is SO brief in the light of eternity.
“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”
3. Don’t take credit for accomplishments the Lord has done.
“But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.”
4. Yield to the Holy Spirit and obey the word of God.
“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”
LESSON - Life is so short! It seems a shame to waste a life on things that will not matter in eternity. Use your time and resources wisely in this life with which God has blessed you. Make today matter for eternity, because tomorrow may never happen!
