Weary of worry?

Worry reveals a lack of faith in God’s love for you. LESSON:

1. Don’t allow your mind to become preoccupied with physical things. They distract you from those things which are eternal, just like unsaved people.

Mt 6:29b-34 “O ye of little faith? ...take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:)

2. Why should you not be concerned with your needs? Because God knows your needs and WILL meet them if you’re walking with the Lord.

“for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.”

3. Fill your mind with the things of the Lord. Set as your life’s goal to obtain the righteousness of God in your life.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;”

4. As you press toward your life’s goal, God will remove obstacles and make provision to help you accomplish your goal.

“and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

How many times must God come through for you, provide for you, and answer your prayers before you will TRULY trust in Him? Learn to live by faith!

Ps 37:3-6 “Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord;

and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.”
