We need a moral society!

In order for a society to remain moral, truth and justice must prevail. Our laws must reflect this as well as the leaders selected for our offices of authority. This must also be reflected within the citizenry as a whole. Whenever these Biblical principles are abandoned, society spirals into immortality and lawlessness. To avoid this, we must:

1. Reject all forms of deception.

Ex. 23:1-2, 7 “Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.”

2. Do what’s right, not what’s popular.

“Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil;”

3. Avoid causes which propagate unrighteousness.

“neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:”

4. Stand for what is right

“Keep thee far from a false matter;”

5. Stand for life and the innocent.

“and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.”

LESSON - It’s lonely to do what’s right in a secular society. Whether it be standing for the National Anthem, speaking out against movements which support rioting, or voting Pro-Life, we MUST support that which is moral. Truth and justice will never require you to act in a manner in which the ends justifies the means. It’s never right to do wrong, and it’s never wrong to do right. Every decision that you make to follow after righteousness draws our society one tiny step closer to repentance and a moral society.
