Between the 6 & 7 seals being opened, there will be 12,000 from each tribe of Israel saved during the tribulation who will broadcast the Gospel to the ends of earth. His people, the Jews will finally accomplish their God-given task to “be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth.”
Rev 7:4 “And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.”
Many Bible scholars believe that more people will receive Christ during the Tribulation than at any other time in history. Multitudes from every Gentile nation will respond to the Gospel spread by these Jewish Believers and martyrdom shall occur.
V9-10 “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.”
V14 “These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”
LESSON - Even during God’s judgment, He will extend grace to the Lost, but every one who receives Christ during the Tribulation will suffer great persecution. Many will die for their faith. We should be diligent to share our faith while God remains patient as we live in this age of grace. The time is drawing short for those who are not saved. 2 Cor. 6:2b “behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” For those who have rejected Christ now, there is little chance that they will be saved then when repentance comes at such a high price. Be saved today!
