Are you sure you are saved? Because if you are saved, then you are sure.
Rom. 8:1, 35, 37-39
1. The key to our security is Jesus, not our walk.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.“
2. The reason for our security is His death, not our circumstances (Jn. 3:16).
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
3. The confidence of our security is His life, not our fear of death.
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
LESSON - If you are saved, you are assured a home in Heaven just as if you were already there because of Jesus.
