Not only do we believe God‘s word to be inerrant (without error), but we also believe God‘s word to be sufficient for all time. God gave us His word knowing that it would always be relevant for every issue of life. Take for instance our society’s newest trend toward transgendered people. The world would have us accept this behavior as the “new normal.” Notice what the Bible has to say regarding this topic.
Deut. 22:5 “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.”
LESSON - God did not refer to this as merely a sin, but as an abomination because it was also a violation against nature itself. In Gen. 1:27-28a God stated clearly a very basic command necessary for the survival of the human race “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.” When mankind yields to our own fleshly desires we replace God‘s perfect plan with our own and as a result, perish! Believers should never be mean-spirited toward anyone bound in sin, instead we should strive to rescue everyone from the destructive affects of sinful lifestyles.
