Question - Are You Ready to Answer?

Updated: Jun 11

We should always look for the opportunities God will provide us to share our faith. When the Lord provides those opportunities, we should be ready and willing. Notice Paul’s attitude, as well as the topics addressed during this witnessing conversation:

Acts 24:24-25 “And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.”

1. He reasoned with him through the Gospel. It was not a debate or planned speech/presentation.

“And as he reasoned”

2. 1st Subject - Salvation

“of righteousness,”

3. 2nd Subject - Godliness/Repentance

“temperance,”

4. 3rd Subject - Judgment

“and judgment to come,”

The Result - Conviction

“Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.”

LESSON - 1 Pt. 3:14-15 “...If ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear”
