How important is your image? People go to great lengths to develop an identity in the eyes of others because for many, they are what others perceive them to be. In this generation, perception is greater than reality. Here’s a harsh reality...we are what God sees.
Rom. 2:26-29 “Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law? For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.”
LESSON - 1 Sa. 16:7 “the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” Perception is not reality. God’s impression of you is all that matters.
