Our task this week as we minister:
1. To go in numbers to the harvest which HE has prepared in order to share the Gospel.
Lk 10:1-2, “After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”
2. Warn them that God’s judgment is coming soon.
V9 “..say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.”
3. Rejoice not at their response, but in the fact that YOU have been saved from Hell.
V20 “...rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
LESSON - It is our joy and privilege to tell others of the freedom we have found in Christ. Some will receive it, others will reject it. But their responses will pale in comparison to the joy we experience when we are rewarded for our obedience and realize all the joys of Heaven are ours for all of eternity because of Christ. Serve faithfully! You will NEVER regret it here or there.
