His Plan of Mercy

Throughout time, God has been working His plan to make known to the entire world the message of the Gospel. After Isreal’s rejection of Jesus as their Messiah, God chose Paul to deliver His message to us, the Gentiles. One day, God will once again turn His attention back to the Jews to proclaim to all nations the Gospel of Jesus Christ showing His mercy for all.

Rom. 11:30-36

”For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.”

LESSON - Notice the themes in this song which God gave within this passage to celebrate His proclamation of the Gospel to all:

1. The wisdom of His plan.

“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!”

2. The vastness of God’s way beyond man’s way.

“how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?”

3. EVERYTHING is OF Him, BY Him, & FOR Him.

“For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things:”

4. To God alone be the glory!!

“to whom be glory for ever. Amen.”
