4. There are NO second chances.
Lk 16:26-31 “And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.”
5. They Lost are concerned for the salvation of Family & Friends.
“Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.”
6. The resurrection of Jesus is still NOT enough for some to believe.
“And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” LESSON - I wish my desire for lost people to know Christ was greater than them who are in Hell right now. My challenge is to see these people not as they are now, but what their state of mind will be in eternity if they choose to continue to reject Jesus Christ. I must also be mindful that the conversation I’m having with an individual on any given day may be the last opportunity for them to hear the Gospel. They must NOT be forced into making a decision, but they should be given the opportunity to hear it. Remember in eternity, there will be NO second chances.
