God will always be fair and just!

Ex. 21:1, 24 “Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them.

Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.”

LESSON - After God had given the 10 commandments to His people, this chapter outlines the judgments which He had established as equitable restitution for laws which were transgressed. Vs 1 & 24 show us that God is always fair and equitable regarding punishment. You may feel at times that God is too lenient towards evil people who willfully choose to sin against others. This passage reveals that it is not God, but our government that has become too lenient upon people who choose to break the law. Even when our government fails to enforce the laws that God has set forth, we must remember that there is a judgment after this life and all things will be settled there. God will always be fair and just!
