Lk 15:4-7 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
LESSON - I enjoy fellowship with other believers. I find the time very encouraging and uplifting. I remember what it was like to be a public school kid who had no Christian friends. I’m glad those days are behind me, but they are tempered by the needs of those around me who remain lost. I was once one of them. How would I describe the results of my conversion? PURE JOY!!! Notice the rejoicing in this passage...the shepherd, the friends, the neighbors, and all of Heaven. So many lives are impacted by the conversion of one lost sinner. According to this passage of scripture it is clear where our priorities should be, the 1 Lost Sheep. GO FIND HIM!!
