Everything good is a gift from God

Use it for the good of others and God’s glory! 1. Someone will always be in need for what you have.

Acts 3:1-8 “Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.”

2. Your best gifts are not material.

“And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee:”

3. Glorify Jesus when you give.

“In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.”

4. Realize the ultimate purpose for giving is to bring people to Jesus.

“And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.”

LESSON - Every good thing that you have in life has come from God as a gift. Use what you have for His glory and as a result, God will reward you one day in His presence, along with the many others He used you to draw to Himself.

James 1:17-18 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.”
