Beware false teachers!
1. Not everyone who proclaims the name of Jesus is a Christ follower.
2 Cor. 11:13-15 “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.”
2. They are Satanically motivated.
“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”
3. They do good deeds in order to deceive.
“Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;”
4. Their motives for deception will be revealed by God on the day of judgment.
“whose end shall be according to their works.”
LESSON - This passage is a call to Believers to utilize discernment. It is imperative that we view everything through a Biblical lens. Bible teachers will pass away, but God’s word will remain secure and stand the test of time. Mt. 24:35 “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”
