There will always be opposition.
Acts 14:1-3 ”And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed. But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren. Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace...” LESSON - Whenever you do anything for the Lord especially when sharing the Gospel, there will be opposition. Unfortunately, this opposition may come from the self righteous “unbelieving Jews” or the worldly “evil minds”, but we must remain faithful. Notice that Paul and Barnabas continued “Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord”. If we are faithful over time, the results of their work will become ours. “A great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed”. Oh that the Lord would use us as He did them!
