We’re blessed to bless others!

We should be mindful that our resources are not our own. God made everything, therefore He owns everything. We are merely stewards of God’s blessings upon our lives. We should strive to utilize His resources to bring glory to Him. We should be:

1. Generous in giving.

Deut. 23:19-21 “Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:”

2. Wise in business.

“Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury;”

3. Christ-honoring with God’s blessing.

“but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.”

4. Virtuous with promises.

“When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee., usury of any thing that is lent upon usury: Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.”

LESSON - What an honor if you are privileged to be described within the community and church as a person who is generous, wise, Christ-honoring, and virtuous! To know within one ‘s self that God views you as a person of high character and competence. Imagine what impact we would have in our communities if we wholeheartedly put other people first and realize again that we’ve been blessed to be a blessing!
