During the Millennial Kingdom which will occur after the battle of Armageddon, Jesus will finally reign as King from his throne in Jerusalem. Here are some interesting facts about this time when our faith will finally meet sight.
1. Before the Millennium
- Satan will bound
Rev. 20:2-3 “And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.”
2. During the Millennium
- We will rule with the Lord based upon our faithfulness now.
V6 “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”
3. After the Millennium
- God will deliver the Lost up for Judgment at the Great White Throne.
V11-12, 14-15 “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”
“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
LESSON - If your name is NOT written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, every sin you will ever commit is being recorded in God’s books. Punishment will be dispensed upon what His books reveal. EVERY sin will receive a just recompense and nothing will be hidden. Realizing that no sin will go unpunished, it should greatly impact our attitudes as Believers about ourselves and others. 1. We should thank God every day that our sins have been covered by His precious shed blood.
2. We should pity those who sin against us knowing that every evil deed will be brought to light and justly punished.
In the Millennial Kingdom, we will finally experience Heaven on Earth.
