Pass it on!

The reason for many of the things that we see in our culture is because we are in the midst of a generation which has forgotten God’s goodness towards us in the past. We must not fail at our God-given task to pass on what He has taught us and remind the next generation of His blessings. We must:

1. Reverence the Lord and dedicate our children to Him.

Ex. 13:2 “Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.

2. Remember His blessings while abstaining from sin.

V3 “And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.”

3. Recall His goodness and glorify the Lord in all things!

V14 “And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:

4. Repent from the world (Egypt) and follow the Lord as He leads.

V21-22 “And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.”

LESSON - This passage of scripture provides a good outline for passing on to the next generation the things we’ve learned from the Lord. We must not allow Christianity to end with this generation!
