Learning the hard way!

There are some lessons which can only be learned through trials. Here are a few things Job learned the hard way.

1. Take those problems to the Lord which only He can deliver you from.

Job 10: 1-2, 7 “My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul. I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; shew me wherefore thou contendest with me. Thou knowest that I am not wicked; and there is none that can deliver out of thine hand.”

2. He has given you life and He has the right to take it because it belongs to Him.

V8-9 “Thine hands have made me and fashioned me

together round about; yet thou dost destroy me. Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?”

V12-13 “Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit. And these things hast thou hid in thine heart: I know that this is with thee.”

3. If I sin, I should expect God’s chastisement, but even the righteous will not be free from trouble.

V15 “If I be wicked, woe unto me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;”

LESSON - To attempt to reason with God why your life should be easier is of little difference when trials are deemed necessary by God. When the potter shapes clay, it will require pressure from within and from without to become the vessel God needs for His purpose. It NEVER feels good but the end result will always be worth it!
