Lk 12:22, 25, 29-31 Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
O ye of little faith? And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. LESSON - Our natural inclination regarding the things we need is to worry when we feel unable to provide for ourselves. In this passage, God has promised to provide food, clothing, and shelter. If we are walking with the Lord, we have no reason to believe otherwise. Worry reveals a lack of faith in God to provide what He has promised. What is the solution to this type of worry? Seeking first to do the will of God KNOWING that He will provide what we need to keep going. If you are living for the Lord, do what you know to do today. He will provide what you need to do it.
