We all have different stories. But if you have accepted Christ as your Savior, our stories have a similar outline.
1. Someone gave us the Gospel.
Eph 1:13-15 “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:”
2. We chose to believe and put our faith in Jesus alone.
“in whom also after that ye believed,”
3. The Holy Spirit was given to us by Jesus until His return as earnest money for our future inheritance.
“ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”
LESSON - How should we respond to God in order that we might reciprocate?
1. We should share our faith regularly.
“Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus,”
2. We should serve faithfully within the local church.
“and love unto all the saints,”
